ADISA Conference Insights: Fundraising in 2024 (VIDEO)

Fundraising levels across many alternative asset classes began their downward trend in the second half of last year amid persistent global macroeconomic uncertainty and an aggressive tightening cycle from global central banks in response to elevated inflation. The trend has continued for much of 2023, but investors are beginning to see opportunities for 2024.

At the recent ADISA conference in Las Vegas, Connect Money asked industry leaders about their views on the current fundraising environment and the prospects for 2024 and beyond.

“Everyone is having a harder time raising capital, especially when everyone is licking their chops knowing that we think it’s a great time to put new money to work,” said Jay Frank, President, COO of Cantor Fitzgerald Asset Management.

You’ll also hear from Casey Wilson, Head of Investor Relations at Loci Capital, about investment from the high-net-worth space compared with the institutional sector.
