ADISA Conference Insights: Eyeing Credit Strategies (VIDEO)
Private credit conditions have been a favored vehicle for investors in 2023, as banks are burdened by public debt committed to cheaper rates during the zero-interest rate era and are having difficulty syndicating paper. As a result, banks’ lending has fallen, and market liquidity has decreased.
At the recent ADISA conference in Las Vegas, Connect Money asked industry leaders if they are considering any credit strategies as part of their alternative asset portfolio.
“Commercial real estate volume is down about 16+% since April of 2022 because there’s no credit. If you have the ability to go out and lend credit, you’re able to charge and get such a higher return for investors,” said Jade Miller, President, Capital Markets, at Bourne Financial Group and incoming 2024 ADISA president.
You’ll also hear from Geoff Flahardy, President of BD and RIA at ExchangeRight Real Estate, about the firm’s focus of both asset class choice and overall investment strategy.
