Access Point Financial Closes $1.6B in Hotel Financings Through 2025

Access Point Financial (APF) announced it has closed and committed approximately $1.6 billion in hospitality-specific financings year-to-date, reflecting robust demand for private credit solutions across the hotel sector. The financings span 51 hotel assets nationwide and encompass a mix of bridge loans, mezzanine loans, construction financing, preferred equity, and hotel-specific SASB CMBS investments.

The properties are located across 20 states and are primarily affiliated with major hospitality brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, and Choice.

“We have been working diligently to provide our clients with innovative, alternative routes to successfully finance their hotel projects,” said Mike Lipson, CEO of Access Point Financial. “APF is open for business, and we stand ready to deploy capital quickly and decisively for a diverse and growing group of hotel owners.”

APF has also expanded its construction loan program, introducing higher-leverage solutions to meet the growing demand for development capital. “We know there is a need and have made a concerted effort to offer capital solutions for that part of the market,” Lipson added. “The current U.S. hotel pipeline exceeds 6,200 projects, creating a great opportunity to work with proven hotel developers building strong brands.”

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Atlanta, Access Point Financial manages $3 billion in assets and provides direct senior, mezzanine, and preferred equity financing to qualified hotel owners and franchisees across all major brands as well as independent boutique hotels.
