$615M Georgia FA Team Jumps to LPL Financial

LPL Financial LLC announced that a $615 million five-person advisory team has joined the firm’s broker-dealer, RIA and custodial platforms, aligned with existing firm Integrated Financial Group. The teams joins LPL from Lincoln, now part of Osaic.

The Atlanta-based advisors – Jason Walker, Vladimir Nikitenko, H. Scott Braswell, Rosty Tkachenko and John Hydrick – formed Wealthstead Financial Advisors. Led by managing partner Walker, the team offers financial planning services and investment advice with a focus on retirement income planning and portfolio management. The business primarily grew out of the nonprofit market, but the client base now includes mass affluent families, executives and business owners.

Learning of Osaic’s acquisition of Lincoln, the advisors decided to hunt around for a new broker/dealer.

“After a thorough due diligence process, we felt the move to LPL was a natural fit for our team,” said Walker. “We were looking for a partner that would allow us to collaborate more effectively and use each other’s different backgrounds and specialties to better serve our clients.”

The announcement is only the latest in a series of new recruits for LPL, which serves over 23,000 financial advisors, including advisors at about 1,000 institutions and at about 580 registered investment advisor firms nationwide.
