$480M Advisor Team Joins Ameriprise Financial
Financial advisors Chuck Heare, Ross Heare, Tommy Goth, and Jennifer Goth-Castillo have joined the independent channel of Ameriprise Financial, bringing over $480 million in client assets from UBS Financial Services in Beaumont, TX. Formerly operating as Goth Heare Wealth Management Group, the team includes father-son and father-daughter duos and join forces with Q5 Wealth Management, an Ameriprise practice they previously collaborated with at UBS.
Q5 Wealth, led by managing partners Omar Bitar, Jeremy Saba, Mike Persia, Ed Persia, and Brad Klein, made the transition from UBS to Ameriprise in 2024. Reuniting with their long-time colleagues, the Goth Heare team sees the move as an opportunity to build on their legacy while offering clients enhanced support and resources.
“The feedback from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive,” said Jennifer Goth-Castillo. “We’re excited about the future and what we can build together at Ameriprise and Q5 Wealth Management.”
The transition also includes Tiffany Barber, client service assistant, who joined the Q5 team alongside the Goth Heare group. Q5 has been in rapid growth mode, having added six advisors in recent months. This includes Scott Guptill, who joined from Morgan Stanley with $100 million in assets, and Kurtis Bell, formerly of LPL Financial, with $25 million in assets.
Following these additions, Q5 Wealth Management now comprises 11 financial advisors and seven support staff, overseeing more than $1.9 billion in client assets. The team is supported by Ameriprise franchise field VP Logan Clipp and regional VP Tres Rouquette.
Ameriprise continues to attract experienced, high-performing advisors. Over the past five years, approximately 1,700 advisors have joined the firm, including the recent addition of Allegiant Private Wealth from Merrill Lynch, bringing more than $300 million in client assets.
