$350M Ohio FA Team Exits Osaic for LPL

LPL Financial LLC continues its recruitment of Osaic advisors with the addition of Strata Financial Group, an Ohio-based team with more than $350 million in assets, marking the ninth firm to join from Osaic since June.

The team is led by partners Anthony Campagni, Ronald Jurczynski, and Mitchell Romeo, and includes financial advisors Kyle Hancharick and Dominic Elmo, and support staff members Emily Dohenko and Shayla Svetgoff.

Founded in 1998 by Campagni and the late Rino Romeo (Mitchell Romeo’s uncle), Strata operates in two Ohio locations: Sheffield Village, where the team serves the greater Cleveland area, and Dublin, serving the Columbus area. Campagni said the firm has a “unique focus on tax and financial planning in an ever-changing environment.”

Mitchell Romeo added that the firm was drawn to LPL because of its “transparency and robust public presence,” while Jurczynski said the goal was to “leverage LPL’s vast resources,” including consolidated reporting and access to more investment and insurance solutions.

Strata Financial Group’s team is the most recent in a series of advisors who have departed Osaic, the former Advisor Group, following its consolidation of long-standing affiliates into a single firm in 2023 and subsequent rebranding under the Osaic name.

Strata Financial Group is the third firm this month to transition to LPL. Earlier this week, the firm announced it added Prosperity Investment Management, bringing approximately $140 million in assets from Osaic. The independent broker-dealer also added $410 million Westlake Village, CA-based Nexus Wealth Partners. Prior to that, it added S&G Wealth Partners, a former Osaic team managing $165 million in Tempe, AZ.
