$2B Ex-PNC FA Duo Deaprts for LPL Financial
LPL Financial has lured a pair of financial advisors from PNC Private Bank, where they managed a total of about $2 billion in assets under management.
Advisors Scott Gilliam and Travis Blessing have joined LPL to launch Greenwood, IN-based Align Private Wealth on the firm’s broker-dealer and registered investment advisor platform.
Align Private Wealth provides wealth management services to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, including business owners and multigenerational households.
“Our goal is to build deep, long-term relationships where we truly understand every aspect of our clients’ lives — not just their finances,” Gilliam said. “We’ve intentionally designed our practice to work with a limited number of families so we can be fully embedded in their decision-making, helping them navigate everything from wealth planning to generational transitions.”
Additionally, the firm chose LPL after evaluating other contenders because of its “scale and resources,” Align Private Wealth said.
“Independence is incredibly important to us — we wanted the ability to build our business entirely around our clients,” Blessing said. “LPL’s platform gives us the flexibility, technology and support to do exactly that, while enhancing how we deliver customized planning and tax-aware strategies.”
At the beginning of the month, LPL Financial added Central Florida-based Cebert Wealth Advisors, which oversees about $1 billion in advisory, brokerage, and retirement plan assets.
LPL serves over 32,000 advisors, including advisors at approximately 1,100 institutions, and custodies roughly $2.3 trillion in brokerage and advisory assets, the firm said.
