$200M Father-Daughter Team Moves to LPL Financial
LPL Financial LLC announced that advisors Dan Countiss and Olivia Countiss have joined its platform to establish Countiss Wealth Management, a Flowood, MS-based father-daughter team that manages approximately $200 million in assets. Transitioning from Edward Jones, the team has nearly 25 years of combined experience in wealth management.
Dan Countiss, a U.S. Army veteran and former business owner, specializes in advising business owner clients. Olivia Countiss, who started her practice in 2019, brings experience from the industry and her former firm’s home office. They are joined by investment analyst Chandler Duke and client services associate Christy Walker.
“We aim to serve our clients as a multigenerational team,” said Dan Countiss. The move to LPL enhances their financial planning services, investment flexibility, and technology access. “With 401(k)s often being the first vehicle for retirement savings, clients have been asking for recommendations on how to invest their 401(k) dollars. Countiss Wealth Management will now be able to help clients with this important part of their financial picture,” added Olivia Countiss.
In May, LPL added Gaurdian Partners Wealth Management, a $240 million Michigan-based father-son team formerly with Ameriprise.
