$1B Florida Team Departs Morgan Stanley for Snowden Lane
Snowden Lane Partners, a NYC-based independent, advisor-owned, wealth advisory firm, has lured a $1 billion advisory team from Morgan Stanley, bringing the firm’s assets under management to $13 billion.
Based in Snowden Lane’s Coral Gables office, The Yarza Group is led by Jaime Sanchez Yarza, a senior partner and managing director. The three-person team includes Jose Andres Ramirez, portfolio director and senior CRM, and Paula Andrea Gonzales, group director and senior CRM.
The Yarza Group will serve both international and domestic clients, with a particular specialty in serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations.
The addition of The Yarza Group builds on the successful 2023 for Snowden Lane, which included the recruitment of 12 advisors representing over $2 billion in assets.
“Our firm has been fortunate to generate tremendous recruiting momentum over the past two years, with the addition of Jaime, Jose, and Paula serving as the latest example of that,” said Lyle LaMothe, chairman of Snowden Lane Partners.
Prior to joining Snowden Lane, Yarza spent 17 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as managing director. He previously served as VP for nine years at Goldman Sachs.
Since its founding in 2011, Snowden Lane has recruited advisors from Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS, and JP Morgan, among others.
