$140M Ex-Edward Jones FA Hops to Ameriprise Financial
Ameriprise Financial has lured a financial advisor from Edward Jones, where he oversaw about $140 million in assets under administration.
The advisor, Bob Halbert, has joined the independent channel of Ameriprise to launch York, PA-based Fair Oaks Wealth Management, after being affiliated with Edward Jones for 12 years.
Fair Oaks Wealth Management provides wealth management-related services, including Financial Planning, investment management, and retirement planning to high-net-worth clients.
Fair Oaks Wealth Management includes financial planning specialist Deborah Purpora and office manager and marketing coordinator Bonnie Dietz. The practice is also supported by Ameriprise franchise field VP Matthew Roesser and regional VP Tom North.
“In simple terms, we’re now able to do more for our clients,” Halbert said. “It’s our responsibility to listen, learn and develop plans that reflect each client’s unique goals. Now, with the expanded capabilities, resources and support of Ameriprise, we’re better able to meet clients where they are and help them achieve what matters most, both today and for generations to come.”
Halbert registered with Edward Jones in 2013, according to his BrokerCheck profile.
In October, Ameriprise added New Philadelphia, OH–based Kendall Wealth Management, a women-led financial advisory firm, which manages about $300 million in client assets from Edward Jones.
