$1.7B Firm Chornyak & Associates Joins Apollon Wealth

Apollon Wealth Management, a Charleston-based financial advisory firm under Apollon Holdings, has added a 14-person team that oversaw about $1.7 billion in assets.

The team joined Mount Pleasant, SC-based Apollon on June 18, from Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, a company spokesperson confirmed to Connect Money.

Chornyak & Associates, led by Joseph A. Chornyak Sr, along with financial advisors Joseph A. Chornyak Jr, Bob Mauk, Susan Bickel, and Austin Mauk, offers financial planning, wealth management, and tax & estate planning to high-net-worth clients. The team chose Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions as its primary custodian, according to Apollon Wealth.

“We’re excited to join a firm that values independence and client service as much as we do,” Chornyak said. “Working with Apollon allows us to keep our focus on what matters most: our clients, while accessing a broader set of resources and support.”

Apollon managed about $7.7 billion for 20,798 accounts, according to its latest Form ADV.
