TA Realty Closes $1.8B Oversubscribed Value-Add Fund

TA Realty LLC, a real estate investment management firm closed its oversubscribed 13th fund, TA Realty Value-Add Fund XIII, at nearly $1.8 billion, with equity commitments from current and new investors.

The fund acquires industrial and multifamily assets as well as grocery-anchored shopping centers in the US.

“Over time, we have demonstrated that our experience, patience and discipline make us capable of effectively navigating varying market environments with precision. We look forward to prudently deploying this capital into value-add investments that have the potential to deliver attractive risk-adjusted returns,” said Jim Raisides, TA Realty managing partner.

Boston-based TA Realty has raised more than $12 billion of equity for its flagship value-add fund series since 1987.

Since inception in 1982, the firm has acquired, invested and/or managed approximately $40 billion of real estate assets through core, core plus and value-add strategies and customized separate/advisory accounts.

Another Boston-based real estate investment firm, Longpoint Realty Partners, recently announced a nearly $1 billion raise for its third industrial fund, Longpoint Fund III, L.P., well above its original $750 million target.
