Cecilian Partners Raises $11M for Proptech Platform

Cecilian Partners, a New Hope, PA-based proptech firm providing end-to-end digital solutions for homebuilders and land developers, raised $11 million in a Series A round.

The investment was led by growth equity firm Resolve Growth Partners.

Led by founder and CEO John Cecilian, Jr, the startup provides property development software, 3D mapping technology and data management solutions for builders and developers while offering interactive experiences that improve the home buying experience.

Founded in 2019, Cecilian said it tripled its revenue in the last 12 months, while its client base grew 65%. The company now has a footprint of builders and developers across multiple states, including more than 75 clients in Texas and Florida.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation and expand headcount. It plans to increase its employees by 50% over the next 12-15 months in Chicago, Dallas, Raleigh and New Hope.

Resolve chose Cecilian Partners based on the company’s “explosive revenue growth”, business model and path to profitability.

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with John and the rest of the team at Cecilian Partners to build the category-leading platform for land developers and homebuilders,” said Resolve co-founder and managing partner Chris Rhodes.

Rhodes and principal Rocco Natalicchio will join the Cecilian board.
