Rockefeller Expands NC Presence with Six-Person FA Team
Rockefeller Global Family Office, the wealth management division of Rockefeller Capital Management, announced the addition of a former UBS team based in Wilmington, NC.
Decision Point Wealth Partners is led by private advisor and managing director Chad Pearson and SVPs and private advisors Donis Smith and Paul Patterson.
The six-person team also includes wealth manager Riley Stephenson; senior client relationship manager Jillian Dempsey; and client associate Courtenay Bickler. The group will report to Kristen Sario, Southeast divisional director.
The team provides cash flow, tax, and succession-planning and retirement-planning guidance to business owners and also helps multigenerational families with trusts, estate plans and wealth transfer, according to its website.
“We look forward to partnering with Decision Point Wealth Partners in serving clients and their families in this vibrant community and state,” said Sario. “The team will help support our growth in what is a thriving market for Rockefeller.”
Pearson, who has been with UBS for 14 years, began his career with Merrill Lynch in 1996, according to BrokerCheck records. Smith began her career at Morgan Stanley in 1995 and moved to UBS in 2013. Patterson began with Merrill Lynch in 2000 and joined UBS in 2009.
The unit provides advice and financial services to ultra-high and high net worth individuals, families, institutions, and corporations. As of June 2023, the business managed more than $112 billion in client assets across the Global Family Office, asset management and strategic advisory units.
