
UBS Lures $700M Advisor Team for New Hampshire Office
UBS hired two former Merrill Lynch advisors who managed $700 million in assets. Phillips Hardenbergh Associates, led by Heather Phillips and Thomas “Ted” Hardenbergh, has joined the Swiss bank’s Northern New England market in Manchester, NH managed by Jad Dieterle, Patrick Henning and Jeff Houdlette.
The team also includes Senior Wealth Strategy Associate Krissy Schafer, Senior Client Associate Suzanne Moore, Assistant Vice President Allison Riotto and Client Associate Meg Sargent Gould, according to the announcement.
“Heather and Ted are skilled in navigating complex family dynamics, enabling them to provide clients with comprehensive advice and guidance regarding generational family wealth management,” Patrick Henning, associate market executive for UBS’ Greater New England region, said in the announcement.
Phillips and Hardenbergh have a combined 44 years of industry experience. Phillips began her career in the financial services industry in 1997. Prior to joining UBS, she served as a Wealth Management Advisor at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management since 2006.
Hardenbergh began his financial services career in 2003 when he joined Merrill Lynch’s Manchester office.
UBS lost 76 advisors from its Americas wealth management unit during the quarter ended June 30, a 1.2% decline, according to the firm’s most recent quarterly results report.
