LPL Recruits $800M Arizona Team from Lincoln Financial

LPL Financial announced that Validus Financial Associates, an $800 million eight-person hybrid advisory team, has joined its broker-dealer, registered investment advisor and custodial platforms after nine years at Lincoln Financial Group.

Founded in 2009, the Peoria, AZ firm is led by senior partners Ryan S. Kidd and Aaron C. Montez, who combined have more than 40 years of industry experience.

Kidd and Montez will be joined by partner Andy St. John, advisors Andrew Peronia, Andrew Tuell, Marcus Luckeneder, Sean Guill and Kurt Oswald, along with four of their support staff members.

Kidd stated that LPL provided Validus with the resources and scale it needs to best serve their clients and grow their firm.
