Cohen & Steers RE Opportunities and Income Fund Announces Share Repurchase 

Cohen & Steers Real Estate Opportunities and Income Fund (RLTY) announced it has been authorized to buy back up to 10% of its outstanding common shares during a calendar year. 

The open end balanced mutual fund’s stock repurchase program will enable it to acquire shares at a “favorable discount,” according to the firm, adding it will also reduce the discount to net asset value (NAV) at which the shares are currently trading. 

Cohen & Steers is a global investment manager specializing in real assets and alternative income, including real estate, preferred securities, infrastructure, resource equities, commodities and multi-strategy solutions. Headquartered in New York City, the firm has about 16.8 million shares outstanding. 

The fund’s repurchase activity will be disclosed in its annual and semi-annual reports to shareholders.
