Monument Group Merges with Secondaries Advisor Mozaic

Monument Group, an independent placement agent, has merged with Mozaic Capital Advisors, a boutique secondaries advisory firm, after an eight-year strategic partnership.

Monument Group advises and assists on capital formation and liquidity solutions, including primary fundraisings, LP secondaries, GP-led transactions, capital solutions and advisory services.

Mozaic, which was launched in 2015 by Solomon Owayda and Christine Patrinos, focuses on limited partner secondary solutions and GP-led transactions.

Combined, the two firms have raised and advised on more than $131 billion of capital across 205 funds and transactions. The combined group will have 50 professionals across its offices in Boston, London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

“Blending Mozaic’s expertise in LP secondaries and GP-led transactions with Monument Group’s private placement capabilities allows us to be a comprehensive capital solutions partner to our clients,” said Monument Group managing partner Mike Miller.
