GrowthCurve Capital Closes Debut Fund at $1.4B

GrowthCurve Capital, a private equity firm focused on building businesses and driving growth through AI, digital transformation and human capital, has closed its inaugural private equity fund, GrowthCurve Capital Partners I, with total capital commitments of $1.4 billion for the fund and related co-investment vehicles.

Launched in 2021 by Sumit Rajpal, former global co-head of the Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking division, NY-based GrowthCurve focuses on data-rich, control-oriented private equity investments in middle market companies, primarily across the IT, healthcare and financial services sectors.

“Combining the right technologies and tools across the AI technology stack, along with comprehensive investments in talent, is key to achieving our mission of building focused and sustainable growth in our companies,” said CEO and founder Rajpal.

The fund has invested approximately 50% of its capital commitments across four investments to date, including Mistplay, Brightway Insurance, Revecore and Netchex.
