MidOcean Taps Former Wynn Resorts CEO Matt Maddox to Executive Board

MidOcean Partners, a New York-based alternative asset manager focusing on middle-market private equity and alternative credit investments, has appointed Matt Maddox, former chief executive officer of Wynn Resorts, to the Executive Board of the firm.

Maddox brings more than 25 years of experience across hospitality, business operations, and corporate finance to MidOcean.

One of Wynn Resorts’ first employees, Maddox joined the company when it was founded in 2002 as Treasurer and Vice President of Investor Relations. He later served as CFO and president before becoming CEO in 2018.

“Matt is a widely recognized leader in the hospitality and gaming industries whose significant experience working with boards and management teams will be a tremendous resource to the entire MidOcean platform,” said Erik Oken, Chairman of MidOcean’s Private Equity business.
