VestGen Wealth Partners Secures Growth Capital From Willow Tree
VestGen Wealth Partners, a Chicago-based wealth management platform, has secured growth capital from Willow Tree Credit Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“After launching only two years ago and successfully integrating 19 firms representing $7.5 billion in assets primarily in the Midwest, access to institutional capital will allow us to continue our aggressive growth strategy,” said Jason Hanavan, CEO of VestGen.
VestGen launched in December 2024 with 10 advisory practices managing a combined $5.3 billion, built around helping advisors address succession planning. In 2025, it added nine more practices representing $2.2 billion and expanded its leadership team, and it now oversees about $8.5 billion in assets. Last year’s additions included six practices with $1.5 billion in assets from national broker-dealers, bringing on teams in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
The firm supports its advisors with succession planning and professional development and recently launched VestGen Retirement Services as the foundation for a fully integrated offering for retirement plan sponsors and participants.
Willow Tree structures customized capital solutions for businesses with roughly $5 million to $75 million in EBITDA.
Raymond James served as VestGen’s financial advisor, with Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff as its legal counsel. White & Case advised Willow Tree.
