Verdence Acquires $564M Harvest Investment Consultants
Verdence Capital Advisors has acquired Harvest Investment Consultants, adding $564 million in assets under management as the private wealth and multifamily-office firm accelerates its expansion through mergers and acquisitions.
Founded in 1987, Harvest provides portfolio management and financial planning to individuals and families. The Hunt Valley, Maryland-based firm’s entire team will join Verdence, including managing member Michael Meily, who will become a managing director and private wealth advisor.
Harvest clients will retain their existing advisory relationships while gaining access to Verdence’s investment, planning and multifamily-office capabilities. Those resources include private-market investment opportunities and specialized services intended for affluent and multigenerational families.
“Mike and I have known each other for years, and it was clear from the beginning that Harvest looked much like Verdence with deep client relationships and a collaborative culture,” Verdence CEO Leo Kelly said.
The acquisition closed Sept. 18. Financial and legal terms were not disclosed.
Verdence managed approximately $5 billion as of Aug. 31. The transaction lifts its assets above $5.5 billion on a combined basis
It is Verdence’s second acquisition since private equity firms Wealth Partners Capital Group and HGGC’s Aspire Holdings platform invested in the company. The partnership, announced in March and completed in April, was designed to provide capital and M&A expertise for acquisitions and organic expansion.
Luesink Stenstrom Financial, a New York firm with $103 million, was Verdence’s other 2026 acquisition.
