  • Jen Calvery has been appointed to the Board of Directors at ACAMS, an anti-financial crime platform. Currently, Calvery leads HSBC’s Financial Crime Risk and Compliance group and oversees the bank’s strategic efforts. She is also a Non-Executive Director for HSBC Private Bank focusing on governance, risk management, and regulatory and compliance outcomes. Prior to joining HSBC, Calvery served as the director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. 
  • Julie Harris, global head of operations at JPMorgan Chase’s asset and wealth management unit, will be retiring early next year. Harris, who joined JP Morgan in 2017, also serves as the chief administrative officer of its AWM division. Fred Crosnier will replace Harris and will assume his position on January 1. He will report to the firm’s CEO Mary Erdoes. 
  • Peter Podurgiel has been tapped as president and board director of Advanced Power and senior advisor of ArcLight, a power and energy infrastructure investor. At Advanced Power, he will lead the company’s development, commercial, engineering and construction, and asset management activities, working alongside CEO Tom Spang. Prior to joining Advanced Power, Podurgiel served as the president of Competitive Power Ventures, where he led the development, construction and commercialization of new gas-fired generation across the U.S. and Canada. 
  • Financial advisor Todd Phelan has joined Janney Montgomery Scott’s Willett Phelan Myers Rodts Wealth Management Group. Phelan will initially join Janney’s office in Atlanta before opening an office in Auburn, the firm’s first location in Alabama, which is set to open in early 2027. Phelan is joined by private client associate Monica Venable. The group now operates as a ten-person team overseeing more than $1.5B in total client assets. Prior to joining Janney, Phelan was previously affiliated with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors. 
  • Marc Metrick has been named managing director of BRG in its Corporate Finance practice. Metrick will manage teams through transformation and transition and will be based in the firm’s office in New York. Prior to joining BRG, Metrick most recently served as CEO of Saks Global. 
  • EP Wealth Advisors has made several executive appointments across the firm. John McConnell has been appointed as CFO, Erin Voisin has been promoted to chief client solutions officer. McConnell will oversee finance and help guide financial planning, resource allocation and acquisition integration. Prior to joining EP Wealth, McConnell most recently served as CFO of Crisp, a retail data platform. Chrissy Quinn has joined as managing director of Client Growth & Partnerships. Quinn will be responsible for developing tools, training and partnerships to help advisors grow through referrals, centers of influence, marketing and custodian relationships. Before joining EP Wealth, she most recently served as head of Enterprise RIA at BlackRock. Margaret Jarocki has been promoted to Managing Director, Wealth Operations. Her expanded role unites operational support for EP Wealth’s existing business and newly integrated M&A partner firms, improving consistency in onboarding, integration and advisor and client support. Mike Lay has been promoted to divisional leader for the Midwest, and Doug Ireland has joined as divisional leader for Southern California. Kate Middagh has been tapped as chief information security officer, Uma Meyyappan has been named managing director of AI & Data, Elena Stebakov as managing director of Technology Product and John Adams as director of Advisor Technology. Troy Stevenson and Doug Ketterer have been appointed as independent directors to its Board of Managers. 
  • Alexander Anderson has been tapped as an SVP and private banker of Cambridge Trust Private Banking, a Division of Eastern Bank. Prior to joining Cambridge. Anderson most recently served as the founder and CEO of Impact Strategic Partners, where he led strategic consulting engagements focused on investment management, strategic partnerships and business development. 
  • Gabrielle Glemann has joined Composition Wealth as CCO and General Counsel and Joe Salcido has joined as head of Advisors. Glemann will lead Composition Wealth’s legal and compliance functions, partnering with executive leadership on governance, risk management and strategic growth. Salcido will be responsible for working with advisors to enable organic growth. Prior to joining Composition Wealth, Glemann most recently served as General Counsel and partner at Cercano Management. Before joining Composition Wealth, Salcido most recently served as regional director of Wealth Planning at Edelman Financial Engines. 
  • John Collins III has joined Haynes Boone, a law firm, as a partner. Collins advises high-net-worth individuals, families and family offices on tax and estate planning, wealth transfer and financial planning. Collins will be based at the firm’s Dallas office. He also works closely with investment management and funds professionals on family office structures, family limited partnerships, profits interests and related matters. Prior to joining Haynes Boone, Collins was affiliated with Katten Muchin Rosenman. 
  • Michael Camp has been appointed as chief client officer of 55ip, a tax technology platform and fully owned subsidiary of JP Morgan. Camp will lead 55ip’s client business and help execute the firm’s strategic plans. Additionally, Camp will focus on helping advisors and enterprise partners expand their use of the firm’s tax investing platform. Camp will be based in the firm’s Boston office and will report to 55ip’s CEO Gautam Sachdev. Camp initially joined 55ip in 2020 and has helped broaden the firm’s client base and support asset growth. 
  • Helen Jewell will Janus Henderson Investors as head of EMEA & Asia Pacific Equities and Shilpee Raina will join as lead portfolio manager of the flagship large cap growth fund, Janus Henderson Forty, as well as the Transformational Growth ETF, working with portfolio manager Brian Recht. Shilpee will join the firm on January 1, and she will be based in New York, and Jewell will join on December 1, and will be based in London. Jewell succeeds Lucas Klein who is retiring from the industry and Raina succeeds portfolio manager Nick Schommer. Before joining Janus Henderson, Jewell most recently served as International CIO, Fundamental Equities at BlackRock. Prior to joining Janus Henderson, Raina served as co-portfolio manager on the Large Cap Core Equity Strategy within J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s U.S. Equity Group and previously served as Research Analyst for the JPMorgan Equity Income and U.S. Value Funds. Ed Su will remain Portfolio Manager of the Janus Henderson Contrarian Fund following Schommer’s exit. 
  • Private wealth advisors Lisa Behun and Dirk Harris have joined RBC Wealth Management with its support staff, Kevin Wilson and Erin Marshall. The team provides wealth management services. Prior to joining RBC, the advisors managed more than $2B in total client assets at Bank of America. 
  • Sanctuary Wealth has tapped three wealth management executives to various roles at the firm. Harry Drozdowski has been named managing director of Advanced Estate & Wealth Planning; Reilly Cornell has been named VP of Mergers & Acquisitions and Kelly LaPalio will serve as VP of Advisor Growth Marketing. Drozdowski will serve as a senior strategic resource to Partner Firms, working with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. He will also help advisors evaluate and coordinate sophisticated estate, trust, and legacy planning strategies. Prior to joining Sanctuary, Drozdowski most recently served as executive director and private wealth strategist at Wells Fargo. Cornell will help lead Sanctuary’s M&A strategy and transaction execution efforts. She will also source, evaluate and execute M&A opportunities, and work with Josef Rogers. Before joining Sanctuary, Cornell was a Principal on the M&A team at Bluespring Wealth Partners. LaPalio will design and scale organic growth programs across Sanctuary’s national network. She will help advisors sharpen their positioning and apply digital marketing, content, and lead-generation strategies. 
  • CAIS, an alternative investment platform, has made seven new additions to the CAIS Advisory Council. The appointees include MassMutual Wealth Management’s Araceli Corsini, NewEdge Wealth’s Chloe Reed, AllianceBernstein’s Tuppy Russo, &Partners’ Mark Rynasiewicz, Edward Jones’ Steve Snyder, AE Wealth Management’s Ben Sullivan, and Focus Partners Wealth’s Chris Wilde. 
  • Andrew Krei has been promoted to CIO at Crescent Grove Advisors, an employee-owned wealth management firm. Krei will lead Crescent Grove Advisors’ investment strategy and investment team, guiding the firm’s approach to portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment research. Prior to his appointment, Krei most recently served as the firm’s co-CIO. As part of Krei’s appointment, Dave Keevins will continue to serve as chairman of the Crescent Grove Investment Committee along as founder, managing director, and senior client advisor. 
  • Tucker Laurens has joined investment bank Harris Williams as a managing director in its Financial Sponsor Coverage Group. Laurens will work across the firm’s industry and product teams to deepen relationships with private equity investors. Prior to joining Harris Williams, Laurens most recently served as a managing director in the Financial Sponsors Group at Solomon Partners. 
  • Savvy Wealth has launched its latest offering, Savvy Custodial Platform, which is designed for RIA owners and firms. Through the offering, independent RIAs can digitally onboard clients and provide personalized services to them as well. 
  • Cerity Partners has merged with New York City–based The Contant-Leit and Wacht Groups of Shufro Rose & Co., which manage about $1.4B in total client assets. Stephen Leit joined Shufro Rose in 1984, John Contant in 1996, and Harvey Wacht in 2001. 
  • American Life Financial Partners has rolled out its new brand “Life Connected.” The rebrand supports American Life’s long-term growth strategy across products, distribution channels and customer touchpoints as the company expands its reach nationwide. For this year, American Life has expanded into five new states and now serves 31 states and the District of Columbia. 
  • Gen II Fund Services, a private capital fund administrationer, has integrated SensrAI, directly into Gen II’s proprietary Sensr Analytics platform. The platform is designed to help private capital firms access, analyze, and leverage fund performance data. SensrAI provides allows GPs to ask questions about fund performance, capital activity, portfolio exposure and investor information. The system also transactions fund administration data. 
  • OpenVC, a private market indexing platform, has expanded the OPEN Unicorn Fund II, on iCapital Marketplace, which will allow investors access to OpenVC’s index-based investing in late-stage, venture-backed private companies. Fund II which provides institutional-grade index exposure to pre-IPO companies, as there is an increasing demand for exposure to venture-backed innovation. 
  • LPL Financial has added financial advisors of Salt Lake City, UT-based Cornerstone Advisors and Clear Pointe Wealth Management to its broker-dealer, RIA and custodial platforms. Prior to joining LPL, the two teams managed $1B in total client assets at Northwestern Mutual. Cornerstone Advisors, which is led by financial advisors Gardner Brown and Brian Lifferth, provides financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, tax and estate planning and wealth transfer. The team is supported by team members Lexie Sorensen, John Call III, Daniel Brown, Jennie Frey and Alexis Rowley. Clear Pointe Wealth Management is led by financial advisors Ron Hunt and Jonathan Groberg. The team provides comprehensive planning and client strategy. 
  • Equilend, a Fintech firm, has unveiled a new brand identity. The new tagline, “Connecting Securities Finance,” is connected to Equilend’s role in connecting the people, technology, data, and workflows. The new branding comes after Equilend released Spire 3.0 and the launch of 1Source. 
  • Concorde, an independent broker-dealer and registered investment adviser, has added four registered representatives to Fortitude Investment Group, a Concorde-affiliated national advisory firm specializing in 1031 exchanges and Delaware statutory trust investments. Natalie Bender, Cathy O’Neill, Daniel Gamini, and Brian Coughlin. 
  • Abacus Global Management has raised $400M in the closing of a dual-tranche securitization collateralized by a diversified portfolio of life insurance policies.  Abacus expects to use the capital to support continued policy origination and fund general corporate purposes.
