Wealth Enhancement Enters Alaska With $345M Arbor Deal

Wealth Enhancement has entered Alaska by acquiring the investment advisory business of Arbor Capital Management, adding more than $345 million in client assets as the Minneapolis-based consolidator continues its national expansion.

The transaction, which closed Aug. 31, brings Arbor’s Anchorage and Fairbanks offices into Wealth Enhancement’s network. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Arbor’s six-person team includes four advisers and two support professionals. It is led by President Matthew Kolesky and principal Ty Schommer.

Founded in 1996, Arbor provides wealth management and financial planning to individuals, families, business owners, retirement plans and institutions. The practice specializes in working with pre-retirees, retirees, executives and business owners.

Its services include portfolio management, retirement and tax planning, trust and estate planning, equity-compensation advice and multigenerational planning. The combination gives Arbor access to Wealth Enhancement’s planning, investment and operational resources while extending the buyer’s footprint to Alaska.

“For three decades, Matthew, Ty and their team have demonstrated that meaningful advice is not bound by geography,” Wealth Enhancement CEO Jeff Dekko said in the announcement. He cited Arbor’s relationships and sophisticated planning.

The acquisition is among several recent Wealth Enhancement transactions. The company also acquired Dickerson Jackson & Associates, a Glen Allen, Virginia-based hybrid RIA with more than $376 million in client assets. That deal closed Aug. 31.

Weeks earlier, Wealth Enhancement agreed to acquire Servo Wealth Management, an Oklahoma City RIA overseeing more than $210 million. Other 2026 additions expanded the firm into Alabama and Kansas and strengthened operations in Texas and the Pacific Northwest.

Including Arbor and previously announced transactions, Wealth Enhancement said it will oversee more than $161.7 billion in advisory, trust and brokerage assets. That figure includes $6.1 billion managed by affiliate Advisory Solutions Group.
