- Casey Jorgensen has been named chief growth officer at RIA Cyndeo Wealth Partners. Jorgensen will lead advisor recruiting, mergers and acquisitions, and organic growth initiatives and will be based at Cyndeo’s headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. Prior to joining Cyndeo, Jorgensen most recently served as director of relationship management and head of Dynasty Financial’s Institute for Adaptive Leadership.
- Faris AbiNader has joined Sound Point Capital Management, an alternative credit manager, as head of Real Estate Capital Formation, with a focus on Sound Point’s commercial real estate credit business. Prior to joining Sound Point, AbiNader was a managing director at Cerberus Capital Management.
- Financial advisor Zachary Karason has joined Prudential Advisors, the wealth management arm of Prudential Financial, through the firm’s Mid-America Financial Group. Prior to joining Prudential Advisors, Karason served as an advisor at U.S. Bancorp, where he managed $106M in total client assets.
- Amy Brady has joined MAI Capital Management as a managing partner in MAI’s Office of Managing Partners. Brady will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and expanding MAI. Additionally, Brady will oversee the implementation of firmwide initiatives, including AI optimization and workflow. She will also serve as the National Leader of MAI’s strategy focused on women and wealth and will report to MAI’s CEO Rick Buoncore.
- John Houlihan has been named market executive for the South Market, and Ian Roth has been named senior market director at UBS in its South wealth management market, which covers Georgia, Tennessee, and Arkansas. Houlihan will be responsible for overseeing the market’s Private Wealth Management and Wealth Management businesses. Roth will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s Private Wealth Management business in the South Market. Roth is also based in Atlanta and will report to Houlihan. Houlihan previously served as market director for UBS’ Northeast region and is based in Atlanta. Prior to joining UBS, Roth spent over seven years at Goldman Sachs, where he managed the firm’s Southeast private wealth business. The South Market is part of the firm’s Southeast region, which is led by regional director Julie Fox.
- Joel Berry II has joined Oppenheimer & Co. as a financial advisor with the Robinson Private Client Group in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The team, which is led by managing director and financial advisor Tanner Robinson, advises high-net-worth individuals and families, athletes, institutions, and corporations, and manages more than $6B in client assets. Berry will help expand the Robinson Private Client Group’s work with current and former athletes, including student-athletes navigating the evolving Name, Image, and Likeness and revenue-sharing landscape. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Berry was affiliated with Truist Financial.
- Dispatch, a data infrastructure platform, has partnered with Hightower Advisors, to provide client data infrastructure for Hightower Signature Wealth. Dispatch will orchestrate client data across custodians and advisory systems as Hightower brings advisors into its national Hightower Signature Wealth practice. Hightower Signature Wealth is already using Dispatch to manage client data workflows across its Fidelity and Charles Schwab custodial relationships.
- Bernhard Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, has acquired Houston-based Revenew, an infrastructure-focused platform. The acquisition will provide additional capital and operating resources to Revenew and will support investment in technology and innovation. Revenew provides contract compliance, supplier payment review, performance improvement, profit recovery, sales, and tax recovery services.
- RIA Grimes & Company has acquired Needham, MA-based Stevens and Ciccone Associates, PC, a CPA firm. The acquisition adds about 800 tax clients to Grimes, introducing in-house tax planning and advisory capabilities that complement the firm’s existing financial planning and investment management services. As part of the transition, Stevens and Ciccone Associates will operate as S&C Tax Advisors. Separately, Grimes has appointed wealth management executive Andrew Hamil as chief operating officer. Prior to joining Grimes, Hamil most recently served as president and chairman of Wealth Enhancement Trust Services and as president and chair of Fidelity Personal Trust Company, FSB.
- Orion has added BlackRock, Fidelity Investments, and Vanguard to Tailored Allocation Portfolios, its offering that connects third-party model portfolios with Orion’s Custom Indexing technology. Advisors will be able to access model portfolios from the three firms, in addition to Brinker-Main Management, First Trust Advisors, Frontier Asset Management, Janus Henderson, and Russell Investments. Tailored Allocation Portfolios are available across Orion’s advisor platforms and services, including Orion Wealth Management, Orion Investment Portal, Wealth Advisory, and Orion OCIO, and are fully integrated with Orion Custom Indexing.
- Los Angeles-based Altruist, a digital RIA custodian, has rolled out its latest AI-powered financial planning agent within Hazel, its AI platform. The newest offering incorporates financial planning across six workflows, including retirement planning, investment optimization, cash flow analysis, estate planning, tax strategy, and insurance and risk management.
- Alpaca, an infrastructure platform, has partnered with Kalshi, a prediction market exchange, to bring prediction markets to Alpaca’s brokerage infrastructure. Through the partnership, Alpaca’s partners and users will be able to access Kalshi event contracts across various categories, including economic indicators, financial markets, weather, sports, and cultural events. Alpaca Derivatives, Alpaca’s Futures Commission Merchant, will integrate with Kalshi to provide access to Kalshi event contracts through Alpaca’s existing infrastructure. Alpaca will support custody, money movement, statements, and account management, while Kalshi will provide the regulated marketplace, event contracts, and clearing services.
- RIA Sowell Management has launched its Advanced Planning Group, a new integrated estate, tax, and advanced planning resource designed to support its advisors and high-net-worth families, wealthy individuals, and small business owners. APG is led by director of Advanced Planning Carrie Quraishi, and director of Tax Planning JR Quraishi. APG provides advisors with access to specialized services in estate planning, tax strategy, business succession planning, asset protection, wealth transfer planning, and family legacy planning. APG will be available to advisors across both the Sowell Management and Cache River Private Wealth platforms.
- Carrick Capital Partners, a growth investment firm, has raised $600M for a single-asset continuation vehicle for Saviynt, an identity security company. The transaction includes a $255M investment in Saviynt with participation from Carrick’s general partners. Coller Capital was the lead investor, and HSBC Asset Management acted as co-lead investor in the new vehicle. The funding will allow Saviynt to accelerate product development across the Identity Cloud and Zuma, extend its leadership in AI and agentic identity security, and deepen integrations with hyperscalers, SaaS platforms, and global systems integrators.
- Foss & Company, an investment management firm has provided a $33M tax equity investment to power producer Infinigen‘s Yabucoa Solar Project in Puerto Rico. The transaction includes an additional $26M commitment for future battery storage. The Yabucoa Solar Park will be a 42.6 MW DC facility that will become Infinigen’s third utility-scale project in Puerto Rico, joining the operation of Horizon Solar Park and Oriana Solar Park, which represent 115 MW DC of reliable energy. The three sites will deliver 115 MW DC of renewable capacity, which will lower costs and improve reliability on the grid. Infinigen is wholly owned by ArcLight Capital Partners.
