Steward Partners Broadens Credit Facility to Bolster Various Initiatives
Hybrid registered investment advisory firm Steward Partners has completed the refinancing of its latest senior credit facility led by Blackstone Credit & Insurance.
The facility will support recruiting, acquisitions, and other growth initiatives. The refinancing also received participation from Morgan Stanley, MidCap Financial, and Blue Owl Capital, alongside existing lenders Ares Credit funds and Audax Group.
“We’ve seen incredible growth, not just in the number of advisors and teams joining our platform, but in the caliber of talent choosing Steward Partners because of how we’ve built our business,” Jim Gold, CEO of Steward Partners, said.
Recently, Steward Partners added an 11-person team, which manages about $2.4 billion in client assets, marking its largest wirehouse breakaway team to join the RIA through a partnership with Zelniker Dorfman Private Wealth.
In March, the RIA partnered with weathtech platform WealthFeed to help advisors locate and convert more high‑value prospects. Under the agreement, Steward will buy a 12‑month WealthFeed subscription on behalf of 50 advisors, which is the first phase of a broader rollout across its advisor network.
Steward Partners, founded in 2013, says it oversees more than $57 billion in assets under management as of August.
