Coastline Wealth Management Secures $100M to Boost M&A and Expansion
Coastline Wealth Management, a Kestra Financial affiliate, has raised $100 million in financing with private equity firm Brightwood Capital Advisors.
The senior secured credit facility will go towards Coastline’s acquisition strategy and provide the firm with additional capital to expand its infrastructure for its advisor platform.
“Their investment gives us the financial depth to execute our growth plan, expand our platform through strategic acquisitions, and continue building the resources our advisors need to best serve their clients,” said Garrett Taylor, CEO of Coastline Wealth Management.
With the fresh capital, Coastline has completed 12 acquisitions, boosting its total assets under management and administration to more than $6 billion.
“Surpassing $6 billion in assets is an exciting milestone and, more importantly, a reflection of the quality of the advisors and teams who continue to choose to build their future with us,” Taylor stated.
Last month, Brightwood Capital Advisors provided an undisclosed amount of capital to Critical Energy Infrastructure Services, a portfolio company of White Wolf Capital Group. The funding helped refinance the company’s existing debt and provided capital to support its acquisition of One Tech Engineering.
New York City-based Brightwood Capital Advisors, founded in 2010, manages more than $6 billion in assets as of March 31.
New York-based Coastline Wealth Management has completed more than 30 acquisitions in total and serves over 10,000 client households.
