Apex Group Launches ‘The Inner Circle’ Co-Investment Network for Elite Family Offices
Apex Group has launched The Inner Circle, an invitation-only network designed to help family offices and institutional investors source and evaluate private-market co-investments without relying on outside intermediaries.
Membership will be limited to 100 qualified organizations worldwide and reserved for family members, principals and chief investment officers. Applicants will undergo a qualification process intended to preserve the network’s confidentiality and investment standards.
Members will originate and share transactions, due diligence and sector expertise directly with one another. The network will also provide a member-sourced deal pipeline, private gatherings, workshops and a secure environment for year-round investment discussions.
“This is co-investment the way it should work: direct, transparent and led by the people actually doing the deals,” said Lana Callahan, the network’s founder and Apex’s global head of institutional allocators.
Apex did not disclose membership fees, expected investment volume or the network’s first transactions. Members will receive preferred pricing on certain Apex services and access to participating private clubs, giving the financial-services provider a commercial connection to the network in addition to its convening role.
The Inner Circle is not a fund, syndicate or fundraising platform, and Apex said neither it nor the network will offer investment, legal or tax advice. Membership does not guarantee an investment opportunity, allocation or return.
Founded in Bermuda in 2003, Apex provides fund administration, custody and other financial services. The company services more than $3.5 trillion in assets through over 13,000 employees across more than 100 offices in 52 countries.
