Neuberger Launches First Tokenized High-Yield Fund
Asset-tokenized platform Securitize has launched the Neuberger Securitize High Income Tokenized Fund, marking it as the first high-yield bond fund with investment manager Neuberger Berman.
The fund aims to attract risk-adjusted returns by investing primarily in high-yield and fixed-income investments across public blockchain networks such as Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana, and Sui.
The move comes as tokenization of traditional assets continues to become a popular and in-demand product within portfolio management.
Real-asset tokenization is quickly transforming assets into fractional, digital representations, creating new investment opportunities. Real estate tokenization, which is enabled by blockchain, is expected to surge from under $300 billion in 2024 to $4 trillion by 2035, with a 27% compound annual growth rate, according to consulting firm Deloitte.
“Launching HINC across Avalanche, Ethereum, Solana and Sui, gives eligible investors access through four leading blockchain networks, supported by Securitize’s regulated, end-to-end tokenization platform,” said Carlos Domingo, CEO and co-Founder of Securitize.
The fund will be made available to eligible investors and qualified purchasers through Securitize.
Recently, Securitize and its subsidiary, Securitize Capital, registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a registered investment adviser to deepen its services with asset managers and institutional investors.
Earlier last month, through a partnership with Cantor Equity Partners II, Securitize started trading on the New York Stock Exchange as a publicly listed company, valuing Securitize at $1.25 billion.
