Maridea Wealth Management Adds Park Ridge Financial
Maridea Wealth Management has acquired a Chicago-based advisory firm, as the firm aims to deepen its footprint in the market.
Park Ridge Financial is led by founder Rick Pucci and provides financial planning and other wealth management services, including investment management, retirement planning, and estate strategies to high-net-worth clients.
The Park Ridge Financial team will be joining Maridea’s existing Chicago office, which was initially formed last September, and Pucci will join Maridea as a senior investment advisor, Maridea stated.
As part of the transaction, Park Ridge Financial will gain access to Maridea’s proprietary tax services, investment research capabilities, and broader planning infrastructure.
“Bringing our teams together under one roof gives clients a deeper bench in their own market — the same local relationships they have always had, now backed by the research, tax, and planning resources of a national firm,” said Brian Sheehy, senior investment advisor of Maridea’s Chicago office.
Following the transaction, which closed on July 17, two members have fully transitioned to Maridea, a company spokesperson confirmed to Connect Money.
Park Ridge Financial marks Maridea’s fourth transaction for the year, following its acquisition of Florida-based Ashford Investment Advisors, which manages about $180 million in assets under management and advisement, marking Maridea’s first location in the Sunshine State.
Last May, Maridea sold a stake to private equity firms 119th Street Capital and Pelican Capital to fuel acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and national expansion.
New York City-based Maridea Wealth Management, founded in 2023, oversees over $1.8 billion in assets under management, serving over 50 financial professionals.
