Wellington, Vanguard and Blackstone Launch Two Hybrid Funds for Wealth Clients

Wellington Management, Vanguard, and Blackstone have launched two new investment solutions through their recently formed strategic alliance, expanding access to portfolios that blend public and private market assets for eligible investors.

The offerings debut with the WVB All Markets Fund (tickers: WVBIX, WVBAX, WVBMX), which integrates Wellington’s active public equities, Vanguard’s active fixed income and index capabilities, and exposure to Blackstone’s perpetual private markets platform.

A second vehicle, the WVB Blackstone All Privates Fund, provides a single allocation point across Blackstone’s private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and credit strategies.

Wellington serves as the investment manager for both closed-end funds, which are initially available through Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank. The alliance plans to expand distribution to registered investment advisors and broader wealth platforms over time. Neither Vanguard nor Blackstone acts as investment adviser or sponsor to the funds.

“By combining our deep active management and asset allocation capabilities with Vanguard’s scale… and Blackstone’s leadership in private markets, we are delivering thoughtfully constructed solutions,” said Jean M. Hynes, CEO and managing partner of Wellington Management.

Vanguard President and CIO Greg Davis noted the launch extends the firm’s mission into public-private integration, while Blackstone President and COO Jon Gray called the products “simple and comprehensive access for advisors and their clients to help build long-term wealth.”
