Bow River Capital Takes Strategic Stake in Go-To-Market Advisory Firm SBI
SBI has secured a strategic investment from Denver-based private alternative asset manager Bow River Capital, marking the start of a new growth phase centered on talent, technology, and its proprietary growth intelligence platform, SBI Wayforge.
The go-to-market advisory firm, known for helping B2B companies align strategy with execution, plans to use the capital to scale its capabilities and deepen its data-driven approach to revenue growth. SBI’s Growth Intelligence model integrates data, expertise, and execution to deliver actionable insights for corporate leaders.
“The market is at an inflection point,” said Matt Sharrers, executive chairman of SBI. “CEOs and revenue leaders can no longer afford the gap between their topline strategy and the results they see in the field.”
The investment follows a period of expansion for SBI, including acquisitions of Sales Readiness Group, Carabiner, Daydream, and Brevet. The firm reports delivering more than $5 billion in revenue impact across over 500 client engagements.
Bow River Capital said the deal reflects growing demand for measurable and scalable go-to-market execution.
“We spend considerable time evaluating commercial plans, asking whether a company’s growth plan is real and whether its GTM operations can scale,” said Greg Hiatrides, managing director at Bow River. “Our investment in SBI reflects our conviction that consistent, actionable revenue measurement is increasingly critical.”
SBI’s leadership team, including Sharrers and senior partner Scott Gruher, will continue to lead the firm’s strategy and M&A efforts.
