Mercer Global Advisors Buy $100M Women-Led Firm

RIA Mercer Global Advisors has purchased a California-based wealth management firm, which manages $100 million in assets under management.  

Thousand Oaks, CA-based Eagleson Arndt Financial Advisors, founded in 1999, is led by founder Vicki Arndt and offers “holistic” wealth management services and includes client relationship manager Kathryn Freid. 

Following the acquisition, Eagleson Arndt will gain access to Mercer’s family office services, which includes tax and estate planning and investment management. 

The firm’s addition also bolsters its footprint in the Los Angeles market, where it already has offices in Woodland Hills, Encino and Century City, Mercer said. 

“Eagleson Arndt brings a deeply aligned philosophy centered on holistic planning and understanding the full context of clients’ financial lives,” Jessica Caruso, executive managing partner of the West Division at Mercer Advisors, said. “Together, we’re expanding our presence in Ventura County while combining the capabilities of a national platform with the high-touch, boutique experience clients value.” 

Last month, Mercer Advisors added Manasquan, NJ-based Personal Financial Solutions, which manages $150 million in assets under management. 

Denver-based Mercer Global Advisors is backed by a collective group of private equity firms, including Oak Hill Capital, Genstar Capital, and Altas Partners. 

The firm oversees roughly $98 billion and manages over 1,560 employees across 110 offices as of January 31.
