Wealthbox Rolls Out In-House Suite of AI Capabilities

Wealthbox, a CRM software designed for financial advisors, has launched its newest artificial intelligence-powered tools in a move to boost wealth management-related offerings for clients.

The AI capabilities include three AI-powered agents that automate workflows and “monitor advisor workloads and flag overdue tasks.” Additionally, the features include various playbooks that assist with client onboarding and annual review completion, and an AI assistant that provides context for questions regarding clients and pipelines.

“For years, CRMs have been where advisors go to record what happened. We’re making Wealthbox the place that helps you decide what to do next,” John Rourke, CEO and co-founder of Wealthbox. “These aren’t bolt-on tools or third-party overlays; they’re built directly into the Wealthbox system of record, which means every action is logged, auditable, and compliant by default.”

Wealthbox’s latest announcement comes after the platform secured a $200 million strategic majority investment from Sixth Street Growth in July. The investment will go towards bolstering the development of its CRM technology, incorporating new AI abilities, and broadening its expansion into the independent advisor market.

In October, Wealthbox launched its AI Notetaker capability, which enables advisors to “prepare, document, and follow up on client meetings,” and is built directly into its CRM platform, according to the firm.

Wealthbox, marks one of many wealth tech platforms that have incorporated AI into its systems to provide advisors with clearer structures to manage workflows and streamline management.

Recently, Claro Advisors, a wealth management firm, launched its AI-powered wealth tech platform, called the Claro Intelligent Hub, which is a proprietary operating system that creates AI-backed recommendations that assist advisors with providing “enhanced” financial advice to their clients.

Additionally, Advisor360, a digital wealth management platform, debuted a new system that allows advisors to gain more digital access to its services. The offering, dubbed an AI-native Wealth Operating System, is aimed towards financial advisory firms of any size, ranging from solo shops to large independent broker-dealers or RIAs.
