Waverly Advisors Acquires $5B Pacific Northwest Wealth Manager

Waverly Advisors, LLC has broadened its national footprint with the acquisition of Pacific Portfolio Consulting, LLC, a Seattle-based wealth management firm overseeing $5 billion in client assets, along with Pacific Portfolio Trust Company, a Washington state-chartered trust company. The move establishes Waverly’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and enhances its service capabilities with the addition of dedicated trust services.

Founded in 1992, Pacific Portfolio brings more than 30 years of expertise across wealth planning, trust administration, and institutional consulting. The acquisition introduces a new service line to Waverly—expanding the firm’s offering to now include enhanced trust services—and strengthens its corporate retirement plan solutions for business clients. The entire Pacific Portfolio team has joined Waverly.

“This partnership aligns with Waverly’s commitment to continuously enhance the client experience. The addition of Pacific Portfolio’s trust services will further strengthen our ability to serve clients effectively,” said Justin Russell, President and CEO of Waverly.

“Partnering with Waverly Advisors allows us to combine our deep local expertise with a national platform dedicated to long-term client success,” added Larry Hood, Co-Founder and CEO of Pacific Portfolio Consulting and CEO of Pacific Portfolio Trust Company. “This collaboration enables us to provide more comprehensive solutions while maintaining the personalized attention our clients expect.”

The purchase marks Waverly’s 27th acquisition since taking on an equity investment in December 2021 from Wealth Partners Capital Group and HGGC’s Aspire Holdings platform. The acquisition of Pacific Portfolio Consulting closed on September 26, 2025, raising Waverly’s total AUM to approximately $25.1 billion, followed by the closing of the PPTC transaction on October 31, 2025.

The deal follows Waverly’s recent expansion activity, including the September acquisition of Brass Tax Wealth Management in Ohio ($465 million AUM) and its earlier purchase of Fiduciary Wealth Advisors in Sarasota, Florida ($110 million AUM).

Financial and legal terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
