Simplicity Group Acquires Insurance Planning Advisors 

Simplicity Group Holdings, a financial products distribution firm, has acquired Montgomery, PA-based Insurance Planning Advisors. 

Founded in 2020, Insurance Planning Advisors, provides “comprehensive” financial planning, retirement planning, charitable giving, and estate and tax planning, per the firm’s website. 

As part of the acquisition, Insurance Planning Advisors’ managing partners Michael Cianci, James Henley, Scott Meadows, and Chad Thacker, have joined Simplicity Group as partners. The firm is also supported by insurance solutions associate Josh Gamberale and executive assistant Dani Saunders. 

“Simplicity’s deep expertise and dedicated focus on education and partnership perfectly complement our mission,” Henley said. “Together, we’ll be able to offer a more robust set of resources and a wider range of solutions to assist financial professionals in better serving their clients and growing their practices.” 

In August, Simplicity Group Holdings acquired New England-based Northeast Brokerage, an insurance brokerage general agency. The acquisition marked Simplicity Group’s 30th transaction within the insurance sector.
