$250M FA Team Hops to Osaic Wealth from Valic Financial
Osaic Wealth has added a financial advisor from Valic Financial, where he oversaw about $250 million in assets under administration.
Jason Oestreicher, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, launched PATH Financial Partners and has joined Osaic because of its “advisor-first culture” and “planning-centric” technology platform, the firm said.
The team also includes financial advisors Nicholas Brown and Travis Rich, and is supported by executive assistant Daniel Erazo, per the firm’s website.
PATH Financial Partners specializes in providing services to employees within the Florida Retirement System, including educators, law enforcement officers, firefighters, healthcare workers, and municipal employees.
The firm also offers “personalized” financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, estate and tax planning, and insurance to high-net-worth individuals, families, pre-retirees, and retirees, according to the firm’s website.
As part of its transition, PATH partnered with Marshall Lee Rosen, an office of supervisory jurisdiction within Osaic Wealth.
“This transition was more than a business decision – it was personal,” Oestreicher said “After nearly 20 years at a legacy firm, I wanted to build something that puts people first, a firm that reflects who we are and who we serve.”
Earlier this month, Osaic added Hudson, OH-based BlueHaven Wealth Management, which oversees $400 million in assets under management.
Osaic Wealth oversees more than $700 billion in assets under management, serving more than 11,600 financial professionals across all 50 states, the firm said.
