Shoreline Equity Partners Closes Second PE Fund at $450M

Shoreline Equity Partners, a lower middle-market private equity firm, has closed its second private equity fund, Shoreline Equity Partners Fund II, with $450mn in limited partner commitments, exceeding its original $400mn target.

The Jacksonville, FL-based firm, which began fundraising for the second fund in October 2022, attracted significant support from its existing investor base as well as new investors. The firm’s general partners and its executive network also contributed significant capital to the fund.

Led by Mike Hand, Managing Partner, Shoreline has invested in seven platforms and completed over 25 add-ons. The firm focuses on working with companies with EBITDA typically ranging between $5 million and $25 million.

With over $750 million of committed capital under management, Shoreline seeks to lead equity investments of up to $150 million per transaction in support of buyouts, recapitalizations and corporate divestitures.
