- Mark Hantho is joining Bow River Capital as executive chair on September 8, 2025. Hantho will join Bow River Capital’s Executive Committee, which develops and executes the firm’s strategy. He will play an integral role in the firm’s business development and fundraising activities. Hantho brings more than 35 years of investment banking and capital markets experience to his role. Most recently, he was VC, Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory of Citi. Previously, he was Chair of Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc., and Global Head of Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank. He served in similar roles at Bank of America Corporation and Morgan Stanley.
- Yung-Yu Ma has been named chief investment strategist by PNC Asset Management Group. Ma will be tasked with developing investment solutions for both individual and institutional clients. He will lead a team that establishes the overall strategic and tactical asset allocation guidance for client portfolios, manage the evolution of investment processes and provide thought leadership on key investment issues. He also will be responsible for managing the firm’s asset allocation models. He will be based in Philadelphia and report to AMG CIO Amanda Agati. Ma most recently served as CIO for BMO Wealth Management.
- Kathleen Keenan has been appointed chief product officer by Confluence Technologies, a global technology solutions provider for regulatory, analytics, and investor communications in the investment management industry. Keenan will oversee product strategy and management, leading the company’s product and marketing divisions. She most recently as VP of Product Management for Investor Communication Services at Broadridge. Based in Boston, Keenan will report to Todd Moyer and serve on the company’s executive leadership team.
- Patrick Gillin has joined Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), an independent investment bank and financial advisory firm, as a managing director in its consumer investment banking group. Based in Chicago, Gillin will focus on expanding the firm’s coverage of Consumer & Residential Services. Prior to joining BGL, he was a senior member of the Consumer Products & Services investment banking team at William Blair. He previously held positions at Lazard and Deutsche Bank.
- Colin Beamish, financial advisor, has joined LPL’s employee advisor channel, Linsco by LPL Financial, to launch Beamish Wealth Management of LPL Financial. He reported serving approximately $445 million in advisory, brokerage and retirement plan assets* and joins LPL from City National Securities, Inc., a subsidiary of RBC.
- David Ciolfi has joined Eastern Bank as an SVP, Team Lead for Business Development within Cambridge Trust Private Banking, a Division of Eastern Bank. Ciolfi most recently served as Senior Advisor at Citizens Private Wealth where he led private wealth efforts across Greater Boston, Connecticut, New York and Rhode Island. He spearheaded the growth of Citizens Private Wealth in Connecticut and New York, grew the Private Wealth division in Providence, and led a market launch in the boroughs of New York and Long Island. He previously served as SVP, Wealth Advisor at Wells Fargo Private Bank. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Citizens Private Wealth, including SVP of Consumer Bank Strategy, and spearheaded Private Wealth’s business development efforts in the Northeast.
- Andina Anderson has been appointed managing director, digital solutions, and head of RIA Blueprint – a purpose-built platform central to Cetera’s Wealth Hub strategy. Anderson will oversee strategic growth across Cetera’s rapidly scaling segment of affiliates’ RIA firm. Anderson’s recent leadership roles include managing director at Envestnet and head of Tamarac, followed by chief customer officer with Juniper Square. RIA Blueprint delivers infrastructure, technology, and compliance services through dedicated support teams for each advisor seeking to launch or grow their own RIA.
- Tiger Finance and JPMorgan Chase have provided a lifestyle growth brand incubator with $141M in strategic financing. The revolving line of credit/ term loan consists of $26M provided by Tiger Finance and $115M provided by JPMorgan Chase. Since 2020, the brand company has earned sales and media impressions in the billions, with much of its business coming through digital/ecommerce channels.
- LODAS Markets, Inc. announced that Cantor Fitzgerald will transition 50 alternative investment funds to the LODAS Transfer Agent Platform. The platform combines integrated subscription processing, automated operations and payment services, and API-driven connections to third-party financial technology companies, intermediaries and banks. This approach eliminates errors, reduces costs and simplifies alternative investing from onboarding through investor exits.
- Prometheum Inc., a market infrastructure provider for blockchain-based securities, announced the registration of Prometheum Coinery LLC as a digital transfer agent with the SEC, and the acquisition of ProFinancial Inc., an SEC-registered and FINRA member broker-dealer. With these additions, Prometheum will support the complete lifecycle of securities issued and transferred on the blockchain through its network of SEC-registered and FINRA member broker-dealer affiliates.
- Coalesce Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in human capital-driven and tech-enabled services companies, has acquired a majority stake in DAS Health Ventures, a provider of healthcare IT and business services. Sheridan Capital Partners, which invested in DAS Health in 2021, will retain a minority ownership position and continue to support the company’s growth.
- Reliance Financial, a provider of revenue-based financing solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, announced it has secured an institutional capital source with a prominent specialty finance firm. With deal sizes up to $5M, Reliance Financial offers non-dilutive funding solutions by enabling businesses to sell a portion of their future revenues in exchange for immediate working capital.
- VOX Funding, a provider of flexible financing options for U.S. businesses, announced closing a $150M credit facility with Raven Capital, a NY-based investment firm specializing in asset-based direct lending. To date, VOX has funded over $750M through its platform.
- Palla, an international payments platform that enables instant cross-border payments for global financial institutions and fintech firms, announced it has raised $14.5M in a Series A funding round led by Revolution Ventures, with participation from Y Combinator, Ardent, Cowboy Ventures, and others. David Golden, Managing Partner at Revolution Ventures, and Heidi Miller, former President of JPMorgan International, will join Palla’s board as part of this round. The company expects additional partners to launch before the end of the year—representing a combined end-customer base of over 150M individuals across LATAM and the Caribbean, with plans for global expansion to follow.
- Hex, an AI-powered workspace for data science and analytics, announced a $70M Series C funding round led by Avra, with participation from a16z, Amplify, Box Group, Redpoint, Sequoia, and Snowflake Ventures. Hex was founded in 2020 by a team that had worked together at Palantir, with a mission to build tools that help organizations make better use of data.
- Zeal Capital Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based VC firm, held the close of Zeal Fund II, bringing its total assets to $186M across three funds. The firm focuses on opportunities across financial technology, healthcare, and the future of learning and work. Zeal Fund II will invest in approximately 25 early-stage companies over a four-year investment period, with a strategy designed to lead or co-lead seed-stage financings. The mandate will target initial check sizes between $1M and $2.3M, with the option to serve on the Board of Directors when appropriate to support the growth of portfolio companies.
