Blackstone Invests $200M in Entrata to Advance Multifamily Property Management Technology
Blackstone has invested $200 million in Entrata, a Lehi, UT-based operating system for multifamily communities, valuing the company at $4.3 billion. Entrata’s technology streamlines property management operations, serving the rental housing industry with solutions for accounting, purchasing, facilities, leasing, and more.
Entrata’s centralized platform enhances efficiency by managing tasks like work order tracking, financial operations, and online payments. Recent innovations include ELI+, an integrated platform for leasing, payments, and renewals, and Homebody, a unique solution with Homebody Rewards to boost resident engagement, retention, and loyalty.
“This investment from Blackstone represents a powerful alignment of capital and expertise that will allow us to bring world-class technology to an expanded footprint of owners, operators and residents,” said Adam Edmunds, CEO of Entrata.
“We are pleased to invest in Entrata as they continue to expand their technology solutions for the property management industry,” added Brian Dunlap, a managing director at Blackstone.
Following a majority investment from Silver Lake in 2021, Entrata continues to strengthen its market position. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati served as legal advisor to Entrata for the transaction.
