Fed Holds Rates Steady, Raise Inflation, Lower Growth Forecasts 

The Federal Reserve continued its pause on interest rate reductions, holding the federal funds target range at 4.25% to 4.50%. The move reflects growing uncertainty over inflation, growth, and unemployment, spurred by President Trump’s bold tariff initiatives and other economic policies, which continue to cloud the economic outlook.
