Citco Appoints Co-Heads to Drive Real Assets Business

Citco has appointed Michelle Clements and Joep Hamers as co-heads of Real Assets at Citco Fund Services. The pair will be responsible for overseeing and leading the firm’s global growth strategy.

Florida-based Clements began working with Citco in 2022 as head of North America Real Assets. She previously oversaw real estate operations & fund accounting at BNY for seven years, following 22 years of real estate client and investor reporting leadership at Deutsche Bank.

Hamers, who is located in Amsterdam, has held several leadership positions at Citco since joining in 2002. When CFS established its dedicated Real Assets unit in 2017, Hamers was a member of the management team in charge of customer relationships. He most recently served as Real Assets’ head of client services and strategy.
