Arax Investment Partners Acquires $1B Colorado RIA 

Arax Investment Partners, a multi-boutique wealth management platform backed by private equity firm RedBird Capital Partners, has acquired Cedrus Financial, a registered investment advisor (RIA) based in Littleton, CO, managing about $1 billion in assets. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. 

Founded in 2013, Cedrus Financial will now operate within Arax Advisory Partners, a coalition of independent firms under Arax Investment Partners. This coalition focuses on providing specialized services, investment advice, and solutions for institutions, high-net-worth families, and elite athletes. 

“Our multi-boutique wealth management strategy continues to attract the best in the business, supporting the growth and expansion of the Arax platform,” said Haig Ariyan, CEO of Arax. 

Cedrus Financial is the latest addition to Arax Investment Partners’ strategy, which involves acquiring independent RIAs that continue to operate under their own Form ADVs. These firms are not merged into Ashton Thomas Private Wealth, which Arax acquired in 2023. 

The acquisition of Cedrus Financial marks the latest expansion for Arax Investment Partners. In June 2024, the firm also acquired SRS Capital Advisors, a Denver-based RIA managing around $1.7 billion in assets.
