NexPoint Launches $45M Tennessee, Maryland Self-Storage DST
NexPoint announced the launch of its $45 million NexPoint Storage VI DST, a Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) offering that includes two Generation-V, Class-A storage facilities in the Nashville and Washington-Arlington-Alexandria metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs). The offering qualifies for 1031 exchanges and requires a minimum investment of $100,000.
The storage facilities, located in Temple Hills, MD, and Nashville, TN, will be managed by Extra Space Storage.
“We believe these GenV facilities set the benchmark for high-quality self-storage in their respective submarkets, and we expect them to maintain strong occupancy and rental performance in these thriving MSAs,” said John Good, CEO of NexPoint Storage.
The NexPoint self-storage platform, launched in 2015, includes a portfolio of wholly owned and managed vehicles, as well as DSTs, valued at more than $1.9 billion.
In December 2024, the firm announced it fully subscribed its NexPoint Storage V DST, which reached its $46 million target following its launch in June.
