RBC Lands 15-Member FA Team from UBS

RBC Wealth Management announced the addition of the 770 Group, a 15-member Atlanta-based team with approximately $2.8 billion in client assets, from UBS Financial.

The team, led by managing directors William H. Pahl Jr., James Casey Jones, Scott Serafin, and Jefferson “Jake” Pace II, has over 200 years of industry experience and includes one other advisor, Christine Lizaso, and 10 support staff members.

Pahl began his career in the industry with The Robinson-Humphrey Co. 36 years ago. He departed for Citigroup Global Markets in 2000 and joined UBS in 2009, as indicated by his BrokerCheck report. Pace began his career at Robinson-Humphrey in 1994, and has since pursued the same path of firms, as per BrokerCheck.

Jones and Serafin began their careers at Citigroup in 2002 and 2006, respectively, before transitioning to UBS in 2009. Lizaso, who joins as SVP at RBC, began his career at Robinson-Humphrey in 1999. He subsequently pursued the same path at firms such as Pace and Pahl.

The team also includes senior financial associates John Ramsey, Rob Joyner and William “Bill” Pahl; senior business associate Claire DuBow; and senior investment associates Lauren Riepenhoff, Shelley Davidson and Brantly Geraghty. Aranza Barajas joins as investment associate, and Dorie Downs and Parker Langham as client associates.

Jones emphasized the importance of RBC’s comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management for the team. “Access to best-in-class technology is critical in facilitating this process. RBC Wealth Management’s commitment to partnering with industry-leading platforms for financial planning and portfolio analytics enables our team to deliver precise and truly holistic wealth management solutions.”
