
Hightower Makes Strategic Investment in $2.3B Florida RIA
Hightower has made a strategic investment in Charles D. Hyman & Company, a three decade-old Ponte Vedra Beach, FL-based registered investment advisor with $2.3 billion in assets under management focused on individuals, families, trusts, charitable interests and foundations.
“Joining Hightower will allow us to add additional operational, regulatory, and technological infrastructure as well as leverage an expanded set of new wealth solutions and services,” said president and founder Charles “Chuck” Hyman.
Along with Hyman, the team includes Celeste Beale, Jose Hernandez, Chris Gray, and Joy Sadler.
“Charles D. Hyman & Company has a strong reputation and long history of serving as trusted wealth advisors to families across generations in Ponte Vedra Beach and beyond,” added Hightower Chairman and CEO Bob Oros.
Chicago-based and Thomas H. Lee Partners-backed Hightower comprises 140 advisory businesses in 35 states and the District of Columbia. The firm provides investment, financial, and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations, and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Hightower’s assets under management were approximately $156 billion as of June 30, 2024.
In January, Hightower announced the acquisition of Capital Management Group (CMG) of New York, a wealth management and financial planning firm with $3.3 billion in assets and offices in New York City and Pearl River.
