Walton Global Launches DST Land Offering in Delaware
Walton Global announced the launch of its Delaware Growth 1 DST focused on land-based investments. The Indian Point offering is in Felton, DE and includes 128 acres of land zoned for residential development. The site is estimated to support approximately 270 homesites. The DST has an exit strategy planned for three to five years.
The global real estate investment and land asset management company’s approach to its DST offerings, initially introduced in March 2023, emphasizes all-equity potential growth opportunities, aiming for perhaps better returns than traditional DSTs. One aspect of the strategy is avoiding unnecessarily long hold times because of the typical payback constraints associated with conventional financing.
“Indian Point was chosen for this DST 1031 exchange offering due to its family-friendly atmosphere and active lifestyle that make it one of the best places to live on the East Coast,” said Michael Slavotinek, VP, mid-Atlantic and the Carolinas for Walton Global. “This region’s growing population also makes this parcel a prime choice for new home development and our land investment opportunity.”
Scottsdale, AZ-based Walton Global has more than 90,000 acres of land under ownership, management and administration in the U.S. and Canada, totaling $4.37 billion.
