$915M Former Truist Team Moves to RBC Wealth
RBC Wealth Management has expanded its advisory network to include the Brown-Brinkley Group, a multigenerational financial advisor team from Truist that manages about $915 million in client assets.
Tysons, VA-based Brown-Brinkley Group is led by Alexander Brown, managing director and financial advisor; William Brinkley, managing director and financial advisor; and William’s son Taylor Brinkley, financial advisor.
“We chose to move our business to RBC Wealth Management for its supportive, client-first culture, as well as direct access to leadership and resources that are valuable to our clients,” Brown said.
Also joining RBC are Lane Thomas and Victoria Roberts, senior business associates; Hunter Brammer, senior financial associate; Carly Kacvinsky, registered client associate; and John Kim and Jan Conner, client associates.
RBC Wealth Management, a division of RBC Capital Markets, has $583 billion in client assets and over 2,100 financial advisors.
The Brown-Brinkley Group is RBC’s second hire from Truist in recent weeks. Nashville, TN-based The Glaser Group manages $730 million and joined in May. RBC also recently added two veteran financial advisor teams – the Barnes Group and the Pollard Team – to its Bel Air, MD office from Merrill Lynch, managing approximately $900 million in combined assets.
