
Wealthspire Buys $420M Women-Led Ohio RIA
Wealthspire Advisors LLC, a NYC-based independent registered investment has acquired Beachwood, OH-based Walden Wealth Partners LLC, a registered investment advisor firm with about $420 million in assets.
The financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close this quarter, were not disclosed.
Founded in 2015 by Karin Maloney Stifler and Sarah Hannibal, Walden Wealth offers financial planning, investment advice, estate planning services and fiduciary consulting for “individuals and families of wealth,” according to Wealthspire.
“Walden Wealth Partners has thrived on providing comprehensive financial care to its clients that considers every aspect of their lives and future goals,” said Stifler. “Partnering with Wealthspire will enable us to continue what we’ve started and expand our ability to support the needs of our clients for generations to come.”
In September 2023, Wealthspire acquired GM Advisory Group, a $6.3 billion RIA with offices in New York and Florida, and in June of the same year it acquired ACG Wealth Management, an RIA based near Richmond, VA, with around $1 billion in assets.
Wealthspire is backed by parent company NFP, a property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager and retirement plan advisor, and oversees more than $25.8 billion in assets.
