NorthRock Partners Adds $700M Bay Area Team
NorthRock Partners, a $6 billion financial advisory firm, has acquired San Francisco-based Minkoff Wealth Partners, the firm’s first acquisition since selling a controlling stake in itself to insurance holding company Sammons Financial Group.
The deal also marks Minneapolis-based NorthRock’s first office in California. Minkoff, which was formerly affiliated with Ameriprise, employs 18 people and manages more than $700 million in client assets, NorthRock said.
“Our model of deeply integrated advice and cutting-edge services continues to attract more clients and advisors. This new office is just the next step in our journey to bring our client-centric model to more people across the country,” said Rob Nelson, CEO of NorthRock Partners.
